Hello, my little Dragons!

I hope that this blog post finds you well in this time of seclusion and uncertainty! Personally, I've been staying away from a lot of the news sites just to give myself a break from being bombarded with all the information we are getting. Thankfully, I can still work from home and get some crafting done! Check out the little card I made last night- a 6x6 inch Swing Card by Sam at Mixed Up Craft. She's been doing a Facebook Live every couple of days and this was one of the tutorials that she did. Such a simple card, but with a really cool effect!

What have you been crafting lately? I'm actually thinking about getting a couple of my half-done cross-stitches out again to finish while we aren't really doing much! Now that we are looking at cooler nights- perfect to get something done!

Anyway, getting off track- this blog post is all about the brands that I get supplies from to put into my store. I don't have many- but the ones I do have, have a massive range of items! So, let's start:

Couture Creations

The amazing people at Couture Creations have so much variety and stock for all your crafting needs! From adhesives to cardstock, to alcohol inks and stamps- the list is extensive! As you have probably seen from previous blog posts- I do have quite a few Couture Creations items which are wonderful to use!

Couture Creations have been around since 2010 and are renowned for their GoCut and Emboss die cutting machine and the recently released GoPress and Foil Machine as well as the GoPower and Emboss machine which is an A4 sized electronic die cutting machine!

Being an Australian company who are very well renowned internationally, Couture Creations have their fingers on the pulse with what's new and exciting in the industry- especially in Australia. They have recently released some gorgeous collections here, such as Lest We Forget which is a beautiful collection for our armed services and ANZAC and memorial services. They have also made it that all products co-ordinate with colours that are in their standard items like cardstock, glitter, foils, ink pads and alcohol inks. So you can be assured that you can find items to use with the collection.

Just like the amazing collection by the lovely Lucy Campenau- Steampunk Dreams! Lucy has been in the industry for the last 12 years and makes her own stamps! Joining with Couture Creations to design a gorgeous collection that is perfect for those steampunk junk journal designs, Lucy gets a lot of her inspiration from her home in the Northern Rivers in NSW where she creates and designs for her business: Art Shed Angel. You can find more about Lucy via her Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/artshedangel/

If you would like to order any of these products- please contact me via thelittlepurpledragon@outlook.com or my Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/TheLittlePurpleDragon/

Kaisercraft

Up next is the Australian crafting wonder: Kaisercraft! All the way back in 2005, Kaisercraft developed their scrapbooking range and was distributed to local stockists. Now, they are an international company who are not only continuing with their gorgeous scrapbooking and crafting supplies but are now into stationery, socks and bathroom goodies!

Every month Kaisercraft release a new collection of fabulous colours, designs and variety! And every month they outdo themselves again and again! Along with all their accessories from stamps, ink pads, adhesives, dies and stencils, Kasiercraft have a bit of everything to cover the most inexperienced crafter to the advanced crafter.

The latest editions released from them are the bright and fun Sun Kissed, the subdued and soft Amethyst and a sneak-peek into June's collection: the adorable Little Treasures and the amazing Fallen Leaves!

A little note to add regarding May's collection: due to the Coronavirus, the usual monthly release for May has been delayed so there will be two releases for June.

For more information and pictures, go to my Facebook page where I have albums for each of these collections: https://www.facebook.com/TheLittlePurpleDragon/

Cocoa Vanilla Studios

One of my favourite suppliers, Cocoa Vanilla Studio is an amazing scrapbooking supplier! With gorgeous collections and quality supplies, Zoe Pearn actually started out designing papers and fabrics for different companies when in January of 2015, she decided to create her own scrapbooking products and Cocoa Vanilla Studio was born and is now a worldwide distributor! Designing her own collections, Zoe has added flair and panache to every single page and ephemera. Along with her papers and die cuts, CVS also has stickers, enamel dots, flair buttons and more! I have been purchasing from CVS since the business has opened and it is an in-demand product!

The latest two collections that CVS released were Legendary and Unforgettable.

Both of these collections are available in my store: www.thelittlepurpledragon.com and due to popular demand, Legendary will be re-ordered. Please let me know if you would like any of these orders before stock runs out.

There you have it! These are the 3 main suppliers that I purchase from and they cover everything you could need for your paper crafting! If there was a brand you would like to see stocked in-store, or a particular item- drop me a line! I'll certainly see if I can get the supplies in for you and if not, I can certainly try to find a substitute!

Thank you for letting me talk to you today and hopefully breaks up a bit of boredom for you!

Take care and stay safe!

Sonya
